Факторы начала невооруженных революционных выступлений: опыт комплексного анализа
Аннотация
Одним из важных трендов, которые отмечают исследователи в революционных событиях последних десятилетий, является быстрый рост доли невооруженных революционных выступлений и, соответственно, снижение доли вооруженных революционных выступлений. Исследование этого тренда представляет большую значимость. Настоящая работа продолжает ранее проводимые исследования невооруженной революционной дестабилизации. В отличие от прошлых исследований, авторы значительно расширили учитываемый временной диапазон, рассмотрели вместе основные факторы начала невооруженных (~ «ненасильственных») революционных выступлений и значительно улучшили методологию, совместив эти факторы в рамках одной модели. В результате было установлено, что большинство переменных связано с вероятностью начала невооруженных революционных выступлений криволинейно, что объясняет слабую статистическую связь для некоторых переменных в работах предшественников. Нелинейную связь имеют: длительность существования режима, экономический рост, уровень демократичности, степень коррумпированности режима, урбанизация, ВВП на душу населения, «молодежный бугор», производство нефти, уровень дискриминации. Кроме того, были выявлены наиболее важные детерминанты начала невооруженных революционных выступлений и проранжированы в порядке их значимости. Проделанный анализ позволяет предполагать, что вероятность начала невооруженных революционных выступлений наиболее высока в экономически среднеразвитых государствах с молодыми политическими режимами, значительной численностью населения, очень низкими (как, впрочем, и очень высокими) темпами экономического роста, промежуточными политическими режимами (частичной демократией или в особенности частичной автократией), высоким уровнем коррумпированности режима (притом что предельно высокий уровень коррупции оказывает на вероятность начала невооруженной революции все-таки скорее ингибирующее воздействие), значительной финансовой помощью со стороны США, достаточно высоким уровнем охвата населения современным формальным образованием, очень длительным сроком пребывания первого лица у власти, достаточно высокой долей горожан в общей численности населения, наличием определенной культуры протеста, с низкими или отсутствующими нефтяными доходами. При этом подтверждается, что вероятность начала невооруженных революций заметно выросла после конца Холодной войны в связи с изменением мировой геополитической ситуации.Скачивания
