Китайская империя в сравнительной перспективе
Аннотация
Историческая Китайская империя (221 г. до н. э. — 1911 г. н. э.) нередко рассматривалась изолированно, как нечто уникальное и исключительное. Ее сравнительно редко сопоставляют с другими историческими империями. Настоящая статья предпринимает именно такую попытку. В ней утверждается, что, несмотря на все свои особенности, Китайскую империю продуктивно сравнивать с другими империями, что позволит углубить наше понимание феномена империи в целом – в пространственно-временной перспективе. В работе последовательно анализируются аргументы против трактовки Китая как империи и даются на них последовательные ответы. Кроме того, в статье утверждается, что в современных условиях, когда легитимность и эффективность доминирующей формы национального государства поставлены под сомнение, а глобализация переживает стагнацию и частичный откат, опыт исторических империй может служить ценным интеллектуальным ресурсом при осмыслении возможных траекторий будущего развития.
